This is 15x better than a looper pedal

I don’t know about you…

But one of my greatest desires for playing guitar was very simple…

I wanted to be able to sit down and just play a song.

I wanted to sound full and engaging without having to sing and using nothing but my guitar. I finally figured out how to do this. I’ll share with you what I discovered today…

But for a VERY long time. I had no idea how. I tried a lot of things before I finally figured it out. And one of those things was buying a looper pedal. I remember holding that shiny pedal and thinking inside THIS was the answer. This was how I was going to entertain a crowd and become the life of the party. I mean, I could lay down some rhythm and then solo on top.

I Could Sound Like Two Guitar Players
All By Myself!

I had it made. But let me tell you about what happened next. There were problems. I ran into lots of them once I went out into the world and actually performed with it. For one…

I Was Always
Locked Into The Loop!

Once I played the loop into the pedal. I was now following the loop, instead of me taking the music anywhere I wanted to. You see, it puts handcuffs on your music. Then onstage I had to play the rhythm first, and then record it, and then play on top. This BORED the audience. They would have to listen to me strumming the chords while I created the loop. It only really worked with songs that had just one progression that looped over and over.

I could go on and on about hundreds more problems I ran into with the looper pedal…

But let me just cut to the chase and share with you the final straw that broke the camel’s back with regard to my looper pedal and playing live. One time I was playing with this singer and using a looper pedal. I had worked up this whole big loop and it was part of the show. The audience was getting hyped and I was laying down loop after loop and building this masterpiece. I’d laid all the rhythm parts down and I was about to rip this blistering solo on top of it all to make the crowd go nuts…

And right at the highest moment. Just as I was finishing up laying in the final part before I was about to go wild with a solo. I hit the pedal and the whole song abruptly stopped. Literally not only did the looper stop. But I’d lost all sound completely. My guitar had nothing. And since I was the only person playing an instrument onstage the music completely STOPPED. The song immediately crashed and burned. Frantically scrambling onstage trying to figure out what happened. I unplugged out of my looper pedal, and just plugged straight into my amp. Everyone was looking at me stunned. I shrugged, embarrassed, and then we went into the next song. Turns out there was a software glitch inside the looper pedal.

And I didn’t figure it out for the rest of the gig. It had malfunctioned and I couldn’t fix it until I went home and plugged it into my computer. I had to do some software diagnostic that the pedal company had to walk me through.

Anyway, it was a BUMMER.

So over the next few years, I figured out a way to perform and do the same thing but WITHOUT a looper pedal. In fact, it was mind-blowing to other guitarists in the audience.

I would be playing at wineries and solo guitar gigs around Los Angeles and they’d walk up to the bandstand and say, “Hey man that sounds great, what looper pedal are you using?” I would say, “None”, as I showed them my guitar plugged straight into my amp…

They were baffled. You know…

Most Guitarists Have No Clue
How
This Works!

There’s only a very small community of guitarists who do. You have to learn how to combine the two most crucial elements, of a song through fingerstlye. This is the secret.

If you’ve struggled with this, you can start training to get it down by grabbing my free fingerstyle guide right here:
